Welcome
Hello, and welcome to my Web site.  My name is John Medeiros, and I write poetry, personal essays and creative nonfiction.  As a poet interested in both language and form, I find poetry at its best when the two work together to complement the narrative.  But not all poetry has narrative, and not all narratives lend themselves well to poetry.  For this reason I am intrigued by the interplay of poetry and prose, and my writing strives to fuse elements of both to tell a narrative that is lyrical, insightful and imaginative.

With this in mind, I invite you to enjoy my Web site.  Feel free to contact me and share any comments you have.  I would love to hear from you!  I will update my site frequently, so please visit again soon.
