Creative Nonfiction
Each of us has a story to tell, and the challenge for writers of creative nonfiction is to tell our stories in fresh, new ways.  It is for this reason that we are asked to stretch the boundaries of what we've been taught, and seek new answers to age-old questions.  That is why writing creative nonfiction is such a radical and rebellious act, because we are constantly asked to seek a new logic.
 
Because of poetry's sensuous and powerful effect, the stories that have remained with me are those that have a certain cadence to them, and those are the stories I like to tell...
